About Me
Jessica Overend lives in Minnesota with her husband and four children. She has four cats and a service dog, which belongs to her oldest child. Writing is Jessica’s favorite hobby, but when she isn’t writing, she can be found reading books by her favorite author, Nora Roberts, crocheting, or sitting on her front porch watching thunderstorms.
Living to Write
Jessica spent her childhood and teenage years writing in a journal, a therapy technique she learned about from her mother. The first meaningful thing she wrote was in fifth grade; a book about vampires. Since then, she’s dabbled in poetry, fiction and nonfiction, college essays, journaling, and romance. Her first self-published books can be found on Amazon.
Writing to Live
Becoming a published author was a dream of Jessica’s since she learned how to write in elementary school. Jessica never thought she’d be successful with her writing, especially after spending five years building her loving family, and she’s very happy and excited to finally meet her biggest and scariest goal.
The Next Step
As Jessica builds her writing career, she hopes to publish blogs, lots more books, and maybe even some short stories that will be exclusive to her followers.
