About Me
Jessica Overend lives in Minnesota with her husband, four children, four cats, and a devoted service dog who supports her oldest child. A passionate writer at heart, Jessica finds joy in crafting stories that captivate and inspire. When she’s not writing, she enjoys curling up with a Nora Roberts novel, working on crochet projects, or relaxing on her front porch as she watches thunderstorms roll in.
Living to Write
Jessica began writing at a young age, inspired by her mother’s introduction to journaling as a form of therapy. Her passion for storytelling took root in fifth grade when she wrote her first book—an imaginative tale about vampires. Over the years, she has explored a wide range of genres, including poetry, fiction, nonfiction, romance, and personal essays. Jessica's journey as a writer led her to self-publish her first books, which are now available on Amazon.
Writing to Live
Becoming a published author has been Jessica’s dream since she first learned to write in elementary school. For years, she doubted whether it was possible—especially after dedicating five beautiful years to building and nurturing her family. Now, having achieved her biggest and most intimidating goal, Jessica is both proud and overjoyed to see her lifelong dream become a reality.
